Our services
Most of our work is relationship based, working closely with a committee and chair. For some clients we may design and manage a particular event, for others we may take responsibility for the annual events calendar, from initial event briefings and promotion to post-event reporting and evaluation.
In each case we define how best to engage the audience and ensure the event is one where participants feel they have learned something new, met someone new and had a good time. Over the years we have built a powerful database and web of contacts for fascinating speakers and specialists to ensure that our events are stimulating. We also go to some lengths to seek out venues which are a little bit different and help make the event special.
For many of our clients who are membership organisations, we also provide management services. This includes a range of activities from preparing newsletters right through to monitoring and promoting membership.

Event design
Beginning with the setting out of objectives, we take a strategic approach to each and every event we design. We’ll outline the event’s concept and context, recommend online, in-person, or hybrid, develop a programme and source and liaise with the appropriate speakers to ensure objectives are achieved.

Logistics
We’ll take care of the logistics, from sourcing a venue to ensuring appropriate fit out. On the day of live events, we’ll also be on hand to support with staffing of the event, welcoming guests, managing any livestreams, briefing speakers and making sure the day runs smoothly. And we do exactly the same if your event is online.

Operations
For any event, registration and attendance is a time-consuming task. We’ll manage all registrations within agreed capacities, keeping you updated as to numbers at all times. We’ll also be the point of contact for all stakeholders, so we’ll be on top of all operational elements from start to finish. You need badges or gifts? We’re on it.

Financial management
Any and all events will be created in line with your budgets. We provide scenario modelling from the outset, manage the budget, VAT control, source insurance, manage supplier invoicing and complete the final financial tie up. And with everything we plan, be assured we’ll always come in on budget!

Sponsorship
For larger-scale events like annual conferences, we can pull handle all forms of sponsorship. We’ll manage the sale of space, negotiation, contracts, floor plans, guides, promotional materials and ongoing liaison until the event is live and complete.

Exhibition
For conferences and exhibitions, we manage all elements, not just from an organisational perspective, but also from a display one. Conference and exhibition stands, promotional spaces, speaker programmes - we’ll handle the moving parts to ensure your team have capacity to focus on wider strategy.

Promotion
Once you’ve created a stellar event - you need people to attend. We have our own digital and promotional team that can produce all website collateral, e-newsletters, promotional materials, advertising campaigns and print and broadcast media to make sure your event is well attended.

Reporting and evaluation
We’ll capture all the key data on the day - attendance, key learning and feedback, as well as capturing video or audio of the day to circulate with interested parties who couldn’t make it. We can then post-event evaluation to circulate with your members and with your board to inform future event strategies and programmes.

Corporate governance
Ensuring your corporate governance is in order can often be time consuming. We’ll take care of your registrations with Companies House and/or OSCR, submit your annual returns, provide a Company Secretary service, organise Board Meetings, working groups, AGMs and manage the process of directors election and induction.

Membership services
Your members are the backbone of your association - and keeping those numbers high and healthy is vital to your success. We can manage your membership recruitment and retention, develop membership packages, organise events and CPD courses (including formal accreditations) and collate member views and feedback.

PR and communications
Regular communication with your members and wider audience is key to vital association performance. We will manage all elements of PR and comms as agreed by your board, including social media, website design and updates, e-news bulletins, press releases and media liaison.

Finance and administration
We’ll keep on top of all financial activities, including subscription processing, book-keeping, managing accounts and creating projections, Payroll, tax and VAT. We’ll also provide a full secretarial and office support service which includes a dedicated telephone number and answering service.

Policy and international relations
As part of our policy services, we make sure to engage with relevant Scottish, UK and European parliamentary cross party groups wherever possible. We can provide parliamentary briefings, coordinate responses to government consultations, organise parliamentary and cross party events and engage with relevant sector bodies internationally.
